It must be some terrible wiring, the moca led doesn't light up in my room I didn't even notice it.
MOCA ADAPTER SETUP TV
Yeah, it works fine on my tv in the living room. The issue is Apartment comprelexe dont run Coax "Properly", so some times you have to do some digging. If they work, then you know its good, if they dont, well that means that wall outlet is not connected to anything.

The easiest way to check if your wiring is good is to either connect a Cable box or the gateway to that line. While Non Moca splitters can work, it can cause interference from what I have heard. Ensure that what ever splitter your using is rated for Moca. Im going to guess its an issue with wiring. I dont have a Comcast gateway siting in front of me to know where all those settings are. Orange blinking light I cant seem to connect my modem to the xFi app. Secondly you need to make sure its outside the range of the DHCP server or you will have issues down the road. Connect the provided Power Adapter to the MoCA Ethernet Adapter. Connect your laptop, desktop, or game console devices to the LAN ports on the MoCA Ethernet Adapter. Of course, replacing the splitters and amplified splitter is really what made the difference, but the Motorolas were easier to wire into my network.Still the IP address your using is not valid with the network you have. the MoCA Ethernet Adapter to the Ethernet port on the modem/router. MoCA network adapters are an easy, affordable way to bring high speed, reliable Internet access directly to PCs or entertainment devices like HDTVs, DVRs, gaming consoles, Blu-Ray players, and more. I had made a previous effort with the ActionTec adapters, gave it up, and returned them. You have two options for setting up a MoCA network: 1 use a set of bonded MoCA 2.0 network adapters, or 2 use a MoCA wireless network extender. I have the Motorola MM1000 adapters, by the way.more plug and play than the ActionTec ones. I'm very happy that I put in the MoCA, very solid and robust. If I have only one eero node connected to the gateway node via MoCA, that's fine, too. But once you get it connnected and working, your eero nodes should just start using it. So you have to do a little research, and understand what you might need to replace or change about your current cable TV coax network. The amplified splitter also has a POE MoCA filter, which keeps my MoCA signals out of the neighborhood cable TV network :-). I replaced the amplified splitter at our old cable point-of-entry (POE) with the MoCA 2.0 compatible one, and suddenly everything started working. The other thing is that we have an amplified splitter here, and that also has to be MoCA 2.0 compatible. I had to replace a couple of my existing splitters with compliant ones to get MoCA to work properly here. First off, coax cable splitters need to be MoCA 2.0 compatible, which means that they have to go up to 1675MHz. Just turned on the adapters, watched the lights on the adapters indicate "connected", and off it went. MoCA is a good way to connect a router or cable modem/router to a distant device by using your homes coaxial (coax) cable.

Then, install the splitter where the cable line comes into the house, with. The eero just started using the MoCA connection as soon as I had it working, I didn't have to do anything. The first MOCA adapter goes between the wall jack and your cable box / cable modem. The MoCA provides a "wired-equivalent" connection between the gateway eero and the two remote eeros. There's another MoCA adapter at each of our two main TV's using their cable TV coax ports, where there's also an eero node (not coincidentally :-) ).

To illustrate, I have a MoCA adapter at my gateway eero that plugs into the switch there, and is connnected to the coax cable from a previous cable TV installation. Find where your coax cable is located in your home. Next, plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the MoCA adapter. These little devices are about the size of your average router. You may need additional, or longer cables for your installation, which can be easily picked up online or at a home improvement store. The first step is to get yourself a MoCA network adapter. MoCA is transparent to your router, it's only a layer 2 transport protocol, and you need an adapter at each endpoint (point of use). The adapters come with a coax cable (6.5ft), a twisted pair Ethernet cable (3ft) and a power supply.

Okay, well, layer 2 devices like MoCA 2.0 adapters don't have IP addresses, unless they have something additional built in that needs an IP address.
